Description & Requirements

Position Summary

The IT specialist is responsible for maintaining the corporate IT infrastructure to keep pace with this fast-growing company. This person will maintain all Information Technology: Servers- Desktops- Phones- Websites- and other IT related services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • New PC and Equipment Setup: Unbox new Windows and Mac PCs and laptops- and configure for use by user. Connect peripherals- add user accounts- install relevant software- update operating systems. Label and record to equipment logs.
  • Maintain IT Onboarding and Offboarding checklists.
  • Implement Onboarding and Offboarding tasks as requested by Primal Kitchen HR department- including but not limited to:
    • Manage users email addresses on the domain
    • Manage user access on software such as Google Suite- Microsoft- Adobe- Shopify- Recharge and Ship-station
    • Arrange return of company owned equipment from end users- when appropriate.
  • Support IT related projects and initiatives between Primal Kitchen and Kraft Heinz
  • Act as liaison between Primal Kitchen and Kraft Heinz IT
  • Point of contact for onsite technical assistance in Oxnard- CA facility
  • Maintain Network Switches- Access Points and Firewall- keep Firmware up to date- report any troubles
  • PC and Equipment Troubleshooting and replacement
  • Basic Network Troubleshooting: ability to diagnose and troubleshoot networking errors- both wired ethernet and wireless.
  • Ensure software certificates are updated as needed
  • Respond to End User CCPA / GDPR requests in a timely fashion
  • Manage equipment records- including but not limited to: where deployed- when purchased- repairs made

Qualifications

  • A self-starter with a minimum 3 years of hands on IT support experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues
  • Basic Networking- PC Setup- and Maintenance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office- Adobe Creative Cloud- GMail- and ability to learn remote helpdesk apps like LogMeIn or GoToMeeting- experience with Vonage phone systems
  • Experience working for a fast-growing company with wide array of IT requirements
  • Track record of entrepreneurial accomplishments- not risk adverse
  • Able to follow instructions and work autonomously
  • Drive and commitment with a high degree of flexibility
  • Able to handle multiple projects at once

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones- and utilize a variety of office equipment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and reach overhead.
  • Ability to travel in an automobile or plane.
