We are looking for a Senior Project / Program Manager to join our team. If you like working on multiple priorities for different business areas, this may be the role for you. With a charter to simplify, integrate and automate the business and IT landscape, IT is building strong partnerships with the business areas. This role will work with the business to develop project charters and will organize these projects to realize the business value. This job will be strengthening our project disciplines through the life cycle of each project. Projects can range from organizing and delivering process automation to new systems and business capabilities to leading a task force to resolve lingering issues to building out the infrastructure for a plant. The right candidate will have a mix of agility and structure while connecting people to process that achieves a collaborative outcome.

• Expert in project life cycle delivery management.
• Ability to organize projects for success by clarifying scope, clearly defining deliverables, aligning timelines, and creating understanding and accountability for project delivery.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
• Good understanding of risk and opportunity levers for project delivery.
• Develop project deliverables standards.
• Collaborate with cross functional business and IT teams.
• Communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders.
• Open the possibilities with business partners through discovery and investigation of needed business capabilities.
• Develop and support project and organization KPIs to demonstrate project and business successes.
• Ability to work independently to drive project deliverables while collaborating with leadership on status, risks, and opportunities.
• Create a learning culture through project retrospections.
• Coordinate multiple project interdependencies and capacity constraints.
• Challenge the status quo to implement solutions that scale.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Master's degree preferred and 8+ years of project management experience
• Proven track record of collaboration and project / program delivery
• Strong facilitation skills that drive clarity, alignment and action
• Experience to build project templates and standards
• Experience with management of planning, scope, and risk with proven ability to anticipate and comprehend complex situations
• Must be a self-starter with exhibited skills in meeting deadlines while collaborating with others.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills
• This role requires exceptional collaboration, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and relationship-building skills at all levels within internal and external parties.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Highly effective with communication, business partnering, and presenting to senior leaders with proficiency with Microsoft Office
