Quality Enclosures (“America’s Shower Door”), a leading manufacturer of shower enclosures headquartered in the heart of Long Island is looking for an experienced IT Support Associate.

Requirements:

• Must have at least two years of work experience and/or an associate degree in a closely related subject or completion of coursework at a relevant technical school.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills and a willingness to help.
• Must be detail oriented with great note-taking skills.
• Must be organized and know how to prioritize tasks.
• Must have own transportation. Will require local travel to provide technical support for an additional nearby office (5 min. drive).
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency desired.
• Able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Account Management (Windows/AD, Microsoft Office, Sage 50 Accounting, etc.)
• General troubleshooting of issues at physical, datalink, and network layers.
• Installation, setup, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, etc.
• Familiarity with many different types of devices (desktops, servers, laptops, tablets, printers, phones, security cameras, etc.)
• Program installations and general troubleshooting of programs including 3rd party and in-house programs.
• Monitoring of LAN and WLAN networks.
• Support for ERP system.
• Deploying and installing hotfixes and upgrades.
• Coordinating with a technology consulting firm.
• System design and security.
• Researching and sourcing new hardware.
• Managing remote software and hardware.
• Communicating with outside systems teams.
• Ability to research and learn new topics with little internal guidance from colleagues.
• Proactively work to prevent issues.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of all systems equipment and software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
