Job description
Sentinel is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join one of our clients. This position will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, various IT assets, tools, and platforms, including workstations, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, phones, various SaaS tools, legacy applications, and network infrastructure. This role must have a sustainable balance between customer service and technical skills. This is a contract to hire opportunity located in Chicago, IL
Qualifications:- Experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and file permissions
- Working knowledge of Apple hardware and software
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with VLAN, Firewall, and Secure DNS concepts
- Understanding of Server and Desktop support
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
