Our Information Technology department prides themselves on being at the forefront of innovative technology and maintaining a high security network, while providing exceptional service to our employees and clients. We are seeking an IT Support Technician to serve as front line help desk support for all technology, along with installation, maintenance, repair, problem analysis, and resolution across all our locations. The right candidate will have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office products, excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to independently analyze and solve problems, preferably with two or more years’ experience. This position can be based full time in our South Burlington office, or on a hybrid basis, which includes three days in office and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build laptops, desktops and kiosk devices
  • Create, manage and remove users and devices (i.e., Microsoft Office, Egnyte, etc.)
  • Hardware and software management through Microsoft Intune
  • Administer cellular contracts and plan revisions, along with mobile device management of Apple MDM
  • Maintain corporate device protection schemas (Antivirus, malware and web proxy services)
  • Purchase and manage device and software inventory within the corporate asset tracking systems
  • Install and manage local area networks (LAN), validate wiring installations of LAN via the use of testing equipment and/or subcontracted reports
  • Source, order, coordinate internet services with Internet providers
  • Troubleshoot and maintain network printers, switches, routers, wireless access points, projector systems, video conferencing systems and IP phone systems
  • Provide remote site installation and support on remote data and communication networks
  • Provide necessary user training on site network capabilities and software needs
  • Responsible to provide primary help desk support and track all support tickets within the Dell KACE ticketing system
  • Travel to regional offices and jobsites when requested
