Role responsibilities
- Support operation and maintain the corporate network, systems and overall IT infrastructure
- Provide high quality support to all employees and customers across several site locations
- Work with vendors, partners, stakeholders and users to resolve issues
- Support the deployment and maintenance of users, laptops, desktop PCs, servers, printers, barcode scanners as well as hardware, software and peripherals in general
- Perform hardware/software installations in accordance with company policies and deadlines
- Manage own ticket queue and meet SLAs
- Documentation of IT operational processes
Minimum qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a helpdesk/field engineer position
- Deep experience in the provisioning and maintenance of laptops and desktops
- Windows desktop OS support (7, 8, 10, 11)
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining, servers, network equipment, printers, barcode scanners, etc.
- Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers and switches. Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks
- Administration knowledge of Windows Server (all versions): Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, WSUS, Print server, File server, etc.
- Active Directory and user management experience
- Microsoft Office 365 administrator experience: Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.
- Own transport with clean license and willingness to travel between sites as required
Desired qualifications
- SAN storage management knowledge
- SQL Server experience an advantage
- Service Now administrator exposure
- IIS administration skills beneficial
- Microsoft Hyper-V administrator experience
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Infor’s M3 ERP system experience a distinct advantage
- Experience providing IT services for a logistics business
