Work Schedule: M-F 7:00PM-12:00AM AND one Sunday every other month

The Item Processing Specialist I provides accurate/timely item data file processing for all BOKF Affiliates’ commercial, retail and correspondent customers. This position provides telephone support assistance to commercial and consumer customer service representatives, branch personnel, and other internal BOKF department personnel. Time spent on principal duties and responsibilities will vary by employee site location.

• You will perform check or deposit processing and electronic item capture and balancing.
• You will monitor equipment and systems to ensure accurate data and resolve system-related problems.
• You will generate outgoing electronic transit items monthly for exchange with a variety of co-banks and clearinghouses.
• You will perform checks and balances to ensure dollar amounts of items are accurate.
• You will perform data capture of payment detail, balance processed items with deposits, and upload files to external client's trust accounts.
• You will extract, balance and execute various transmissions of items to the mainframe processor, internal departments and/or customers.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a high school education and 2-3 years of directly related experience in bank operations or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
