RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform and complete one or more assigned Item Processing duties including, but not limited to: Stop Payment decisions, NSF Desk and PosPay decisions, Cash Letter balancing (Inclearings and Returns), Non-Post/Unposted settlement, export transaction files, ACH disputes, and Mobile and/or ATM deposit review
  • Protect bank assets by adhering to all processes, policies, and procedures related to negotiable instruments, information security and applicable Federal, State, local regulations
  • Independently or with Leadership work to identify, measure, monitor, control and mitigate departmental and enterprise-wide risks
    • Act as a liaison or provide guidance/support for internal departments, customers, branches, correspondent banks and internal/external auditors to resolve inquiries, legal requests and provide necessary documentation and or direction
  • Perform operational accounting activities related to account reconciliation and maintenance including account errors and customer issues, coordinating and communicating with branch associates and customers as appropriate
  • Assist leadership in improving processes and efficiencies
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent required

0-2 years related work experience preferred

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum travel required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position must be able to remain in a stationary position a minimum of 80% of the time, constantly operate a computer, and be able to be in constant communication with customers and coworkers to discuss and observe account information in order to exchange accurate information.

SCHEDULE

Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is hourly and full time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status. May work unconventional schedule as needed.

A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.
