Janitor (Pitkin County Airport, Air Traffic Control Tower)

We are looking for a Janitor to carry out cleaning duties in the Air Traffic Control Tower at the Pitkin County Airport. The job involves janitorial work and high-touch surface cleaning. Work is performed seven days per week.

1. Janitorial Work: 5 days a week with Sundays and Wednesdays being NON SERVICE days. Work will take approximately 1-1.5 hours per working day.

2. High-touch Surface Disinfecting: Seven days/week, (between 7AM-3PM, Work will take approximately 20 minutes per shift, you will be paid a full hour, however.

You MUST be able to pass a Federal criminal background check, including fingerprints.

Responsibilities

• Clean office space (trash removal, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, glass displays, restrooms, break rooms, refill dispensers, disinfect high-touch surfaces, etc)
• Stock and maintain janitorial supply room
• Must be able to pass a Federal background check

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Janitor
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Highly dependable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
