This position cleans working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, apartment house, or commercial or other establishment. Specific Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping, waxing and polishing floors IAW Air Force Standards.
ANYONE CURRENTLY IN THIS POSITION SHOULD APPLY.
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping, waxing and polishing floors.
- Removing chips, trash, and other refuse
- Dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures.
- Polishing metal fixtures or trimmings.
- Providing supplies and minor maintenance services
- Cleaning lavatories, showers, restrooms, windows, and air vents.
- Responsible for timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations.
- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
Mandatory:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One-year similar experience
- Class C Texas driver’s license
- Ability to work on ladders
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to understand working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings
