Janitorial Crew Member

Sertoma Centre also offers Janitorial Services that provide top-quality cleaning and specialty services to businesses and homes.

Your Role
This position performs janitorial tasks as assigned to ensure janitorial contracts are properly completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks assigned at scheduled work sites.
• Follow the janitorial dress code for working on the contract site (long pants, shirts with sleeves, and appropriate shoes).
• Maintain equipment in clean working order. Assist in keeping van and janitor’s closet clean and tidy.
• Relay any problems to the Crew Leader or Supervisor.
• Responsible for notifying supervision of tardiness and absenteeism at least four hours before starting time if possible.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner on the job site at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Entry level experience in janitorial or related fields preferred.
• Competence in areas of skill covered in Centre's Janitorial Training Program.
• Must be able to lift forty pounds.
