Infosys is seeking Java AWS Lead Consultant
In the role of Lead Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. The project location is Hartford, CT. Candidate can work remotely from any locations within the U.S. This position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations. The candidate will be required to work in EST business hours.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience in Java & AWS

Preferred Skills

• At least 10+ years of experience in Java 8/11
• At least 8+ years of experience as Java developer in AWS Platform
• At least 8+ years of experience in AWS services and Cloud Migration
• At least 6+ years of experience in Data Ingestion and Data Quality Products.
• At least 6+ years of experience with RESTful API interfaces and Programming in AWS APIs
• At least 8+ years of experience in Microservices, Microservice Architecture, Spring Boot/MVC/Batch, Rest API
• 8+ years of developer experience in Database: Oracle or MSSQL
• Strong hands-on experience in Setting up, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Openshift container platform
• Strong DevOPS expertise using TeamCity, Nexus, Terraform, Selenium, Jenkins, BitBucket.
• Experience in Setting up, maintaining, and evolving the cloud infrastructure of web applications.
• Experience in Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives.
• Experience in writing Unit test cases using tools like Junit or Mokito.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience in Team management and Team Lead Activities (Code review / peer review).

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
