Your New Company
As a Junior Architectural Technologist you will be joining an architectural practice based in Dublin that due to growth in project pipeline are now seeking to add to their team of Architects and Technologists. This practice has a strong team and between the directors taking on hands on approach to live projects and working closely with the remainder of the team to deliver to the highest quality.
Your New Role
As a Junior Architectural Technologist you will be coming in at a graduate level, there will be plenty of training and mentorship with a focus of working on live projects and applying your degree knowledge to real life applications.. As an architectural technologist your role will focus around producing technical details on drawings, create planning applications which should go through successfully and also understand the building regulations applicable to the project to ensure an efficient transition of the project from design stage to build. There is an understanding you won't know everything but having a strong foundation in these elements will help a lot. The role offers a really collaborative work environment and a focus on CPD training to ensure you are up to date on all current construction methodologies. Overall this role offers a refreshing environment which will give you autonomy but also any help you need to grow and thrive in your career.
Job Requirements
For this role you should hold a degree in Architectural Technology. A work placement will be a strong advantage against other candidates and will enable you to display you work experience and transferable skills during the interview. If not, not to worry as our client can appreciate that there can be talent without a work placement. You should show a driven attitude, openness to learn and push yourself to strengthen the knowledge already built during your degree. The practice uses a mixture of AutoCAD and Revit, so skills in both areas would be ideal. If you have a little more post graduate experience your application would also be welcome, with salary to reflect your experience
