Key roles
To support our business and our varied scope of domestic and international clients.
This role sits within our Credit Operations team and tasks include day to day credit functions, performing collections, reconciliations, and credit analysis.
About You
You will be expected to take ownership and lead and/or participate in functional projects and be accountable for the execution and final outcomes. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders and will collaborate with our operational teams in a manner that satisfies customers’ needs.
You will develop a broad view of the order to cash process and identify problems, root causes and bring the right resources to solve complex problems for win-win solutions.
The role is operational, client facing and requires a person who is willing to learn yet be innovative with a ‘’ roll up your sleeves attitude”.
Specific responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Promoting customer goodwill through professional credit control and relationship building.

Engage with customers that typically include Insurers, Brokers and outsourced agents to develop bespoke methods of account collection that is mutually beneficial.

Follow-up on all overdue accounts and other risk situations and make recommendations for escalation where necessary.

Collaborate with various Sedgwick Global entities on various tasks such enhancing processes and procedures, provide and receive assistance to resolve issues involving shared international clients.

Record collection activity and other pertinent activity in the AR system.

Liaise with various internal departments to ensure disputes and discrepancies are cleared promptly.

Respond to inquiries from internal and external clients and provide a consistent level of customer service.

Communicate customers’ status to management and operational teams.

Provide reports as required.
Qualifications/Experience
-
2-3 years of experience, in Finance Operations.
-
Experience in the Order to Cash, Credit & Collection with a large multinational is advantageous but not essential.

Insurance industry background is preferable but not essential.

Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.

Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Great attention to detail yet possess an understanding of the big picture.

Organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement.

Able to work independently with limited supervision.

Strong problem-Solving Skills and a willingness to bring new ideas to the fore.
