Job Title: Junior IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist our IT department in solving technical issues while providing excellent customer service to our team members. This is an entry-level position, but some experience with MySQL, basic web programming, and Linux is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to our team members, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Use our ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests.
Assist in maintaining our MySQL database system, including performing routine tasks, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with upgrades and migrations.
Contribute to web development projects using basic web programming skills.
Assist in managing our network, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with network upgrades and expansions.
Use basic Linux skills to maintain and troubleshoot issues on our servers.
Work closely with the IT team to identify and solve recurring technical issues.
Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of MySQL and basic web programming.
- Basic understanding of networking principles.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Experience with a ticketing system for tracking and resolving support requests.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Education & Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+) are a plus.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
