Our client, an established Civils contractor in the Munster region are currently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their fast growing team in their head office in Co. Cork on a full time, permanent basis. The role has the option of hybrid and remote work but will require some visits to the office and sites around the Munster and NW region.

Role:
- Estimating & measuring works
- Cost monitoring
- Preparation of interim applications for payments
- Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor in his daily tasks
- Day to Day commercial management of sub contract packages
- Compiling and sending out tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers
- Cost analysis of tender prices
- On-Site valuations and progress reports
- Monthly cost/value reports and management accounts
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- 1-2 year post-grad experience is essential
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets
- Be commercially aware with good client facing skills
