We have a great opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef at this prime city centre location, free parking available. Reporting to the Head Chef, the Jr Sous Chef plays a vital role in supporting the operations and standards set within the kitchen and in the production of excellent food at this elegant destination.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support kitchen operations.
  • Lead by example in excellent food production.
  • Mentor the skilled and ambitious culinary staff.
  • Support the Head Chef in their duties and occasionally deputise for them.
  • Play an important role in the success of the conference and events offerings.

This role is mainly daytime hours, with some elements of evening business, and would suit someone looking to cook quality food in tandem with a work life balance. The ideal candidate will have at least two years in a Sous Chef/Sr Chef de Partie role with banqueting/events experience and will be a flexible and a dedicated chef who enjoys being part of a team.
