Tax
The Grant Thornton Tax department is a growing team of over 200 specialists with deep industry, sector and technical knowledge.
Our client base includes sole traders, small and medium sized businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts, partnerships, large corporates and listed companies.
Our Tax advisory services team works across a range of routine tax compliance work to high end innovative tax planning solutions, covering all tax heads, such as business, corporate or personal tax, VAT, customs, Financial Services (FS), international tax, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Intellectual Property (IP), relevant contracts, Research and Development (R&D) and revenue audits and/or investigations.

The role
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior administrator to join our Tax team. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to get involved in the daily operation of the administrative aspects of the Tax practice, supporting the tax teams.
As a member of our team, you will be joining a high performance innovative team operating within a flexible and hybrid work environment fostering new ways of working in a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities
-
Accurate and timely data entry in our databases and systems;
-
general administration duties in support of the Tax teams;
-
receiving calls and dealing with clients in a professional manner and;
-
co-ordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings.
Skills and attributes
-
Excellent organisational skills, be methodical, with strong attention to detail;
-
proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
-
keen eye for detail;
-
willingness to learn new skills and systems;
-
excellent written and verbal communications skills; and
-
a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Some previous experience in an administrative role is desirable but not essential. Full training on maintaining records within our databases and systems will be provided.
