Looking for full time Veterinary Assistant for a busy 5 doctor veterinary practice in Rockaway.

We are in need of a VA for normal business hours with rotational weekends including Sunday's and some major holidays

Shift times are a combination of 8am - 1pm,1pm - 8pm and 8am - 8pm

Duties include but are not limited to feeding and sanitary care of dogs and cats that are staying within the hospital, janitorial duties around the hospital, laundry, as well as restraining for the veterinary technician while they perform procedures such as blood draws and taking x-rays.

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. Preferably Bilingual but not a requirement

Applicant must be bale to lift 40 pounds

Applicant must be able to stand for long periods of time

Cornerstone experience is preferred but not required
