Kennel Assistant needed at The Animal Hospital of Carrboro. You must enjoy walking and caring for dogs to apply.

Job duties include facility cleaning, basic animal care (walking, feeding, medicating, light grooming, and cleaning up after) of our boarding dogs and participating in their extended walks, play/comfort times. Client communication skills are critical, you'll need to schedule boarding visits (phone and email), confirm vaccines and health requirements for boarding, and communicate well being of pets with owners as they travel.

Applicants must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, punctual, have reliable transportation, be able to work in all weather conditions, lift 50 lbs, and be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. We are currently looking for team members available to work 35-40 hrs during the week, weekends, and rotating holidays. Compensation is based upon experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
