Seeking Full Time Veterinary Kennel Assistant. Ideal candidate is a hard worker that can laugh and enjoy work in a busy environment while maintaining a strong work ethic. Experience is preferred but willing to train an individual with a good work ethic and sense of humor.
Duties include:
- Helping clients into rooms
- Cleaning Kennels
- Assisting veterinarians and vet tech's with patients
- Animal restraint
- Bathing animals
- Caring for boarding animals
- Cleaning Litter Boxes
- Collecting trash; sweeping, mopping, dishes
- Maintaining facility cleanliness
- Answering phones when necessary
Work schedule will be 4-5 weekdays a week (to be determined) from 7:30-5:30. Schedule also includes rotating Saturday & Sunday kennel duties which requires coming into clinic to clean kennels and giving medications to any boarding animals requiring treatments.
