We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Woodbury Commons team as Keyholder. You will assist the Management Team with achieving sales targets, assisting customers with selecting items, providing excellent customer service at all times and building good customer relations. This person will also assist with the opening and closing procedures of the store.
The Role:
- To assist with achieving set sales targets on a weekly basis.
- To maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
- To develop customers into loyal clients of Paul Smith
- To ascertain client information to ensure customer service records are up-to-date.
- To maintain client and customer data confidentiality at all times.
- To ensure that you receive and maintain a high level of product knowledge at all times.
- To ensure that a high level of housekeeping is kept to the Company’s desired standard, both on and off the shop floor.
- To have a good knowledge of the contents of the Employee Handbook and to ensure that the Employee Handbook is fully understood and followed.
- To be fully aware of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- To attend relevant staff training as and when required.
- To maintain a good standard of appearance and to undertake to wear clothing allowance as provided by the Company.
- To assist in any stock, merchandise and housekeeping related duties as requested by the Management Team. This may include duties such as shop merchandising and up-keep, inventory and stock takes, receiving deliveries, the ticketing of merchandise and any other duties as outlined by the Management Team.
- To ensure that the shop is opened and securely locked and alarmed as required. This must be done, for security reasons, in the presence of a fellow member of staff.
- To open and close the register and balance out the tills as per company guidelines.
- Audits and approves register transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Communicates store priorities as determined by store management and delegates tasks to sales associates accordingly if store management is not present.
- Any other related duties that are outlined from time to time by the Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Shop Manager.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of retail selling in luxury fashion
- Experience in providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work towards weekly sales goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
