About us
CHG Catering & Events is the concessionaire for food & beverage at the scenic Simsbury Farms restaurant, Hilltop Grille. It's a casual, fast-paced environment with grab n' go, seated restaurant & a tent for banquets. Banquets are overseen by our catering division, although the culinary team members on property have the opportunity to learn this area as well.
We are looking for kitchen crew members to become part of the on-property culinary team responsible for the day-to-day casual dining menu, as well as grab n' go items. We are seeking highly-motivated individuals looking to learn, have a fun summer job experience, and work as part of a team! You will work under the direction of the kitchen supervisor.

Grill Cook at Hilltop Grille at Simsbury Farms Golf Course
Kitchen Operations: Responsible in assisting the Kitchen Manager in the effectiveness and overall operations of the kitchen.
Food Preparation: Responsible for the preparation and execution of all food related items on the menu, with attention to the area of quality and cleanliness.
Description of Duties:
List of duties will be given by the Kitchen Manager on a daily basis
Get all necessary items together such as food and utensils
Maintenance of necessary equipment (ovens, grills, fryolators, etc)
Practice of basic sanitation procedures are required
Responsible for preparation of all food items found on menu
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work area
Must receive, store and rotate all incoming paper goods and dry goods
Responsible to report any injuries no matter how slight or sever to immediate supervisor
Responsible for weekly maintenance and general inspection and organizing of refrigerators, freezers and storerooms
May be assigned other duties and responsibilities to achieve departmental or organizational efficiency as directed by immediate supervisor or other company management.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
