Kubernetes Administrator job is available with GeoLogics top
Aerospace & Defense company. This is a remote, work from home, telecommute position that requires experience in the following:
Required Skills & Experience
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration, design, construction and operation of container platforms (Kubernetes) as well as in container technologies (Docker, Podman etc.) and their management systems
- Knowledge in CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Gitlab), Configuration Management/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Expertise relevant to kubernetes and how to make it secure.
- Experience using Mesh Networking, especially ISTIO.
- Experience working with IaC and deployed/maintained resources using it.
- Work on creating custom controllers/webhooks/policies to enforce standards in Kubernetes clusters.
- Certification in container orchestration systems (i.e. Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), and/or Certified
- Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) would be consider as a plus
