We have an immediate opening for an entry level healthcare professional. This position is perfect for someone who has minimum experience in the medical field. Those who wish to become a MA or nurse are encouraged to apply. Ultimately, our team is looking for a dependable and hard working individual.

The laboratory assistant position responsibilities include:
- Collection and logging of specimens
- Inputting patient and testing data into the computer logs
- Ensuring that all specimens are stored appropriately for integrity and ease of reference
- Packaging and shipping specimens to an outside laboratory for additional testing
- Tracking laboratory supplies and ordering in a timely manner
- Working with doctors and nurses to answer questions and provide appropriate collection supplies
- Assisting the laboratory manager when necessary

The candidate that we choose will be someone who is eager to learn something new and ready themselves for the daily challenges. You will need to be able to work in an environment that requires multi-tasking and attention to detail. Additional requirements will be standing and sitting for long periods of time, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, have legible handwriting, have good computer skills to be able to navigate simple software, have good organizational skills, dependable transportation, and a clean criminal background check.

This is a part-time position with the lab with additional part-time hours from the clinic becoming a full-time role. The clinic schedule is Monday through Friday 8 am-5 pm. The candidate will join a phone/virtual interview followed by an in-person interview in the clinic.
