Fairfax Cryobank, a division of the Genetics & IVF Institute, is looking for a full-time Laboratory Technician for our Roseville, MN location. Fairfax Cryobank provides donor semen to clinics worldwide and offers semen freezing and storage for clients desiring to have their specimens cryopreserved for future use. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of donor sperm to those seeking donor sperm, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing laboratory tasks related to semen processing, freezing and storage. The Technician will also be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, following laboratory procedures, and maintaining accurate lab records.

Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, exceptional dependability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We are seeking a positive and optimistic team player with a sense of humor to join our team. The candidate must be LGTBQX friendly and comfortable working with a diverse clientele. We are an FDA regulated laboratory, so adherence to strict protocols is paramount.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in biology or related biological science is required.
• Experience in a laboratory environment would be advantageous.
• This is a Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm shift.

• Compensation is important when considering a new job opportunity. Competitive pay at $20.00/hour
• Eligible for monthly and quarterly bonus program based on performance.
