Job Location: 200 Elm Street, Stamford, CT 06901

Position Type: contract( 9 months) with possible extension

Pay rate $25/hr on w2 with benefits.

Education:

Associate or bachelor's degree in technical field

Requirements:

Typically 5 days on site in Stamford location.
The candidate must demonstrate some lab experience
Computer literate in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data
Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols
The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day

Responsibilities:

Testing of cleansing formulations.
Evaluate, collect and record data.
Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.
Involved in making liquid cleansing products.
Tests characteristics of formulas using established procedures.
Maintain and file FDA paper files, lab data, & maintain files by year & the unique FDA documentation
Unpack & lift new Client product for testing, move & set-up product bins in the appropriate heated temperature-controlled chambers
Label each FDA product, check batch & UPC codes
File returned FDA product from the labs back in the appropriate bins in heated chambers
Detail orientated, create excel & word documents for projects using the appropriate Client forms "

Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
