Laborer / Crew Leader / Manager

Job Summary

As Gorilla Garage Gear grows, we are looking for individuals that can progress to the position of Branch Manager within our company. The individual would begin their career as a laborer, progress through Crew Leader and within 2 years advance to managing a branch in a new US city. This position is tremendous opportunity for a highly motivated, and driven individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

At Gorilla Garage Gear we firmly believe in learning the business from the ground up. We are willing to train and advance the right people into the very rewarding position of managing and operating your branch in the US city of your choice. An outline of the position and the progression would be as follows:

First 6-9 months: Crew Member

Crew members work alongside team leaders for the installation and /or servicing of our products. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train you!! Candidates must be:

• Possess an excellent work ethic with willingness to learn
• Be responsible with a positive attitude.
• Punctuality is a must.
• Have the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Comply with OSHA guidelines, company safety policies and procedures
• Perform work in a variety of customer environments including exposure to elements and inclement weather.
• Have the ability to follow direction from leadership.
• Motivated to be successful and team centric.

9 months – 2 years: Team Leader

The next step would be an advancement to Crew Leader. Candidates would be expected to run a crew on a daily basis. This includes:

• Knowing the daily work required and planning accordingly
• Consistent Customer contact and close attention to customer satisfaction
• Manage activities of your crew members to keep them productive
• Communicating with your Production Manager throughout the day with updates and/or issues.
• Keeping the vehicle and equipment in clean working order
• Driving to and from customer jobs in a safe and professional manner.
• Ensuring top quality work.
• Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines, company safety policies and procedures

18 months to 2 years: Branch Manager

The final step would be the very rewarding advancement to Branch Manager where candidates would manage and operate the facility in the US city of their choice. Activities for this position would include:

• Sales & Marketing
• Paying close attention to customer satisfaction.
• Scheduling Employees and daily jobs
• Hiring & Training
• Ensuring top quality
• Excellent Customer Communication
• Following Company guidelines
• Managing Inventory
• Following all safety regulations

Qualifications and Skills

• This program, while not for everyone, offers a true opportunity to advance into a position that would grow into a very rewarding career. To be eligible you must be 18 years of age, have good credit, and a clean, valid driver’s license. Candidates must have a positive outlook, be reliable, and honest, with a flexible attitude capable of problem solving and troubleshooting. Punctuality is a must. Willingness to relocate from the western New York area is a must.

Education

• A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. College Degree is preferred.
