Grass Roots is an award winning design/build firm in Lafayette, LA. with a 40 year reputation for creating stunning landscapes for our clients. We are accepting applications for a Landscape Architect/Designer who wants to become part of this rich history.

Applicants should be:

• Passionate about designing and installing projects for clients
• Hard working and efficient with your time
• Organized and detail oriented
• A great communicator who has a vision for beautiful landscapes

Job duties include:

• Analyze sites to design and produce landscape plans using CAD
• Compile bids for commercial jobs
• Communicate ideas effectivley with team members and clients
• Coordinate with subcontractors and crewmen

Qualification requirements:

• BLA or MLA from an accredited school (negotiable with adequate experience)
• 3+ years experience with a firm (design/build preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Quickbooks is a plus)
• Proficiency in 3D modeling is a plus
• Knowledge of construction materials and processes (plants, irrigation, drainage, lighting, etc.)
• Valid drivers license and clean MVR
• Pre-employment drug screen
