Laser Technician

We are looking for a part-time (to grow into full time if desired) experienced aesthetician to join our fun Naturopathic and Integrative Clinic and Medispa in sunny Ellensburg, WA.
Aesthetician will be required to analyse skin, consult and educate patients on skin care treatments and medical grade products, not limited to; Facials, Chemical peels (light - med. depth), Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Microneedling (semi ablative), PRP we are hoping to add, laser treatments (semi ablative), and other skin care services. Work in collaboration with physicians to provide comprehensive care plans when appropriate. Provide excellent standard of aesthetic services, while ensuring patient safety comfort in a clinical and/or ambulatory surgery center setting. Correspondence with patients regarding treatment plan product usage, questions, and concerns via patient portal.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth consultations for all patients, assessing skin condition and recommending services and products according to their individual needs.
  • Works closely with referring physician to develop skin care plan unique to patient.
  • Refers patient to the physician for any medical procedure
  • Prepares, administers, and documents procedures and therapies according to established policies and procedures.
  • Documents the patient/client response to care and modifies the plan of care as needed in collaboration with health care professionals.
  • provide information and supportive teaching to patients, and respond to all questions.
  • Safe operation of lasers, chemical peels, and devices
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all skin care products and procedures and performs according to policy
  • Adheres to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Documents return visits, referrals, and scheduling of all procedures according to policy.
  • Maintains a daily log of activities and accurately records all revenue received.
  • Assists in marketing, planning and implementation of programs and services.
  • Remains informed of new products and procedures.
  • Attends continuing education as required or recommended.
  • Order and maintain the skin care inventory and necessary items for aesthetician services.
Required Qualifications:
  • Washington State Department of Licensing Esthetician Business License
  • Pass the state-approved practical and written exams
  • Graduate from a school approved and licensed by the Department of Licensing with the minimum required state hours (750 hours) Or Successfully complete a state-approved apprenticeship training program with the minimum state-required hours (800 hours)
  • 1 years' of experience operating laser therapy and performing medium-depth chemical peels
