LATHE OPERATOR

ELMIRA HEIGHTS PLANT

1ST SHIFT

8AM - 4:30PM

MONDAY - FRIDAY

Ability to work 40 hours per week

Must have reliable transportation.

Willingness to learn and accept direction.

Accountabilities include but not limited to:

• Set up, operate, and maintain Lathe to perform a series of machining operations of metal stock in conformance with the blueprint.
• Inspect pieces to ensure conformance to blueprint.
• Other duties assigned by Fabrication Foreman
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Uses care and attention to prevent accidents and injuries to self and coworkers.
• Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of this job.

Physical Demands:

• Standing/Walking - Must be capable of standing and/or walking 8-9 hours continuously.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday
• Repetitive Motions - Employee must be capable of performing substantial motions of the wrists, hands, arms, waist, and legs for up to 8-9 hours a day.
