At SAP Signavio we are expanding our product development team in SAP Dublin.

We develop scalable SaaS solutions in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll also work together with product management, designers, and QA to ensure product success.

Description

• Leading contributor to the entire cycle of product development, from first ideas and brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on customer data
• Enhancements of existing applications as well as the inception of new microservices
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers and other Lead Engineers to define long-term technical strategies in accordance with business needs
• You will mentor less-experienced peers and be mentored by more-experienced peers
• Encourage questions, respectful challenges, and disagreements. Aim for either rough consensus or to disagree and commit as opposed to definite consensus at all times.
• Take accountability for the quality of delivery, output, and outcome
• Understand and communicate value to stakeholders of all levels and/or to the team
• Open to giving and receiving feedback as a way of development

Requirements

• 8+ years experience working in software development
• You feel home at both node js backend parts as well as being comfortable with the Javascript/React frontend.
• Help improve existing Product Architecture and coach other Backend Engineers by sharing best practices.
• Have a positive and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent hands on experience in Node.JS / Javascript or typescript
• Deep knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews
• Aware of the fast-changing IT landscape and confident to suggest new innovative ways to achieve product features.

• Node.js Developer
• HANA Cloud
• Micro Service Architecture
• REACT framework and SAP UI5 libraries

Tools include:

• Jenkins for continuous integration
• Git as source control systems
• JEST framework for unit test automation & X-RAY for test management
• JIRA and Confluence for team collaboration
