We are adding a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to our Knoxville, TN office. The position offers a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Site civil, storm water drainage, and utilities design.
• Manage technical teams working across multi offices problem solving, preparing plans and specifications, construction administration and observations.
• Lead the growth and development of our group’s engineering presence in Knoxville.
• EnSafe is a sell/manage/do organization, so your duties will also include supporting marketing/sales efforts, the project manager, and client project involvement where appropriate.

Civil Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Current PE in Tennessee.
• 8 + years of experience with civil engineering design capabilities with municipal and private clients.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Task management.
• Regional travel likely.
