Overview
Service Champions is currently seeking HVAC Lead Installers to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Installers serve the customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing HVAC equipment as well as installing add-on accessories when needed while providing quality work while following all applicable local and national codes. The role will serve as a mentor and coach to both apprentice and entry-level technicians.

What Will I Do?
- Install/Replace HVAC equipment including but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pumps) rooftop package units.
- Maintain good working order of company vehicle
- Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment in the vehicle
- Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with the dispatch team to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the client
- Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency
- Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate client invoices and other paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments
- Participate in company provided training opportunities on customer service and latest industry technologies
- Work with apprentices and entry level installers to coach and mentor
Do I have What it Takes?
- 3+ years’ experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Works & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/Filtrations Systems, Low and High Voltage Wiring.
- Universal 608 certification
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Minimum tool requirements: Basic Hand Tools – wrenches, screwdrivers/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools and hammer.
- Minimum testing equipment usage: Refrigeration gauges, manometer, magnahelic, C/O detector, pschrometer and microngauge
- Working knowledge of city codes
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure each job is done correctly the first time
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs
***Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer letter
