Happy Days Daycare and Preschool currently has an opening for a full time Lead Infant Teacher. The hours may vary but will typically fall between 8:30-6:00, Monday through Friday.

To be a Lead teacher you must have the following:

- High school diploma/GED with 6 semester hours, 9 CEUs or a combination to equal 90 clock hours with 3,840 hours of experience.

- High school diploma/GED with 12 semester hours, 18 CEUs, or a combination to equal 180 clock hours with 1,920 hours of experience.

- High school diploma/GED with 12 semester hours and 960 hours of experience.

- Valid CDA with 480 hours of experience.

- Associated degree or higher in early childhood education or child development.

- Lead teachers for infants shall have 3 semester hours, 4.5 CEUs, or 45 hours of MiRegistry approved infant and toddler development and care practices within 6 months of hire

Also, someone who is first aid/CPR certified and completed their fingerprinting background check, however these things can be accomplished at the time of hire. You must have experience working the in the childcare field, in an infant classroom. We would also like someone who is a team player, who is energetic and who is willing to get messy with the kiddos.

Happy Days Daycare and Preschool is located at 9384 Whittaker Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. There is not a bus route to this location so you must be able to transport yourself. We do offer services for children of employees; however, it is at availability.
