Lead IT Project Manager
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT?
- To be responsible for programs of work that will span multiple technology disciplines, regions and MMC business units. This role is specific to technology projects driven by Merger and Acquisition activity.
- The Lead IT Project Manager will mManage moderate to complex infrastructure projects within the Real Estate and Business Mergers & Acquisitions portfolio to deliver business outcomes, ensuring that the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains detailed, robust, high-quality risk plan and project plan including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc., keeping plans updated through the project lifecycle.
- Understands the impact of scope changes, change orders and adjusts project plans and communicates accordingly.
WE WILL COUNT ON YOU TO:
- Demonstrable understanding of the technology M&A life cycle (including divestments and joint ventures), from due diligence, risk management, security hardening, integration planning and costing through to full integration.
- Oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of project delivery including planning, project financial management, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling program activities.
- Maintains the PMO Methodology and Lifecycle processes.
- Creates and maintains all documents that support the PMO Methodology
- Educates and consults with the PM group on the PMO methodology.
- Collates and tracks program status information and project artefacts at various stages of a projectsproject’s life cycle (finances, resources).
- Ensures methodology compliance auditing and tracks ongoing projects using the agreed tools at regular intervals; ensure projects are on course and follows the approved methodology.
- Analyses data and provides value add reports on a weekly/monthly basis to PMO Leadership and stakeholders.
- Provides induction and day-to-day support to PM’s and PFM’s on the project methodology.
- Meets with Portfolio managers and stakeholders to review data.
- Creates and maintains toolsets used by the Program Management group.
- Recommends corrective action on projects, if required.
- Works closely with the Program and Portfolio managers to review finances.
- Works with Finance to agree the finance templates and produce the weekly/monthly finance reports.
- Works with Senior IT management leaders to agree to yearly timelines.
- Supports Program Managers in creating budget submissions.
- Reviews and collates budget submissions; provides quality reports.
- Works with stakeholders to implement value add change across the PM.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or have relevant experience
- Must be comfortable working unsupervised, able to work between all layers of the organization, including at CxO level, and be able to build strong teams and to deliver results.
- Project management experience leading infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with various project management tools and processes
- Experience with project financials
- Experience with Agile, waterfall, PMP with a solid foundation in project/program methodology
- A self-starter and self-directed to plan and execute projects
- Motivated, productive professional individual, who works independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $102,900 to $205,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
