We're looking for someone that thrives in a high-paced environment, with a strong ability to promote, sell and educate customers on products and services. You need to be a strong problem solver to help patients through financing issues and other obstacles that could prevent them from scheduling services, be proactive with leads, and keep the schedule filled.

What You Will Do (The Role)

To supervise the overall sales effort of our Animal Hospital including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, supervising sales-related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profits of our hospital while maintaining guests’ and our special four-legged pets’ satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
  • Supervises assigned front desk staff: hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and development.
  • Qualifies all prospective leads.
  • Oversees all animal hospitals marketing initiatives.
  • Enforces sales-related policies and procedures.
  • Ensures sales activities meet or surpass the profit plan.
  • Develops and maintains client files.
  • Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies.
  • Stays abreast of competition and industry developments.
  • Prepares reports as outlined, including Productivity Reports, Weekly Plans, Sales Call Reports, Market Share Analysis, and Forecasts.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates all sales personnel as required.
  • Completes projects as determined by the Practice Manager.

To do this kind of work, you must be able to:

  • Originate and carry out sales campaigns.
  • Create new ways of presenting information that will attract people's attention.
  • Speak and write clearly and convincingly.
  • Frequently change from one activity to another.

Job Requirements:

Previous strong sales experience, preferably as a patient coordinator in plastic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, a medical spa, or a veterinary clinic setting is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
