This role will be our Head of Engineering and will grow into the VP level. Starting as a hands-on Software Engineer building Smart Contracts in Solidity, and providing both strategy and hands-on coding. This role reports directly to the CEO!

What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a Head of Engineering to help us build great products. You'll also manage our infrastructure and ensure all internal and cloud-based systems operate securely and effectively.
To be successful in this role, you should be confident in managing teams while, at the same time, setting goals, budgets, and timelines for various projects. We also expect you to oversee:

- Our integrations with external partners
- Software development plans from ideation to execution
- Creation and maintenance of environments for development through production.
Ultimately, you'll make sure we use innovative technologies that maximize our productivity and help our company grow.
- Oversee front-end, back-end (including Blockchain) development, QA and DevOps teams and their projects
- Manage engineering projects end-to-end
- Implement new applications and features
- Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems, publish metrics, and make improvements
- Manage software development projects by setting technical requirements, goals, and timelines
- Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget
- Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources
- Be product centric: coordinate with product management to ensure features are implemented in a manner that are extensible and leverage existing capabilities
- Hire engineers and coordinate their training
- Implement innovative technologies
- Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools
- Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment
What You Need for this Position

- Tech environment: Test Driven Development, Version Control, Infrastructure (networking, hardware, cloud, virtualization, backups, permissions, VPN, GIT, Jenkins), security, QA, Agile Scrum, Linux administration, MySQL, NoSQL, Caching strategies
