This position involves multi-site management for apartment buildings that are primarily located in the City of St. Louis, Clayton, Maplewood, and University City. In addition, the Leasing Consultant is provided with their own private office and has a great deal of autonomy when it comes to managing their time and leasing appointments. Salary: $47,000.00/Year

Job Description:
AHRA is currently seeking a self-motivated, experienced Leasing Consultant. The candidate should be experienced with all aspects of residential property management.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work during the office hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. Occasional tours on Saturdays when needed
- Strictly adhere to all Federal, State and Local fair housing laws
- Diligently follow AHRA company policy
- Respond to all inquires from prospective tenants in a timely fashion
- Show apartments to prospective tenants
- Prepare and maintain marketing plans and material for residential properties
- Screen applicants according AHRA guidelines
- Fill out pertinent information using AHRA standard leasing form for supervisor review
- Perform tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Inspect apartments before new tenant occupancy
- Respond to tenant concerns and questions
- Assist Customer Service Coordinator to coordinate work orders with maintenance staff and approved contractors when needed
- Assist Customer Service Coordinator respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed
- File and maintain leases
- Send letters, emails, notices to tenants
- Assist with the collection of rents and communicate with delinquent tenants. Escalate delinquency cases when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum one year experience as a leasing consultant or assistant property manager
- Personal automobile with insurance coverage – AHRA will not reimburse for mileage for travel inside of the St. Louis Metropolitan Statistical Area.
- Extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
- Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
- Ability to speak clearly
- Ability to read and understand information
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally
- Reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
