The Mathematics and Economics Department of Bryant University invites applications for a non-tenure track position as Lecturer in Mathematics. This is a non-tenure track appointment with an opportunity for continual renewal. Applicants should be able to teach introductory mathematics and statistics courses, particularly to non-math majors. Participation in certain departmental and admissions-related events is expected. Remaining duties involve helping with student advising, program planning, and implementation. This position will take a leading role in the planning, implementation, and teaching of required math courses in the general education program.

- Expectations include a 4-4 teaching load (with the possibility of reduction for coordination or other administrative duties).
- Providing service to the department and the university are also required.
- An advanced degree in mathematics or statistics is required (PhD preferred).
- Successful candidates must have potential for strong teaching and evidence of significant engagement with mathematics at the non-math major or general education level.
- Regular attendance at assigned job site and the ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and constituents are essential functions of this position.
