Job Title: Legal Content Writer (Contract Position)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented legal content writer to work with us on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating informative, well-researched, and engaging content on various legal topics. They must have exceptional writing skills, be able to follow very specific style guidelines and SEO practices, and be able to produce unique content that passes copyscape and AI detection.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on various legal topics and produce high-quality content based on client requirements and guidelines.
• Write on topically repetitive legal topics while ensuring that the content is unique and passes copyscape and AI detection.
• Write, edit, and proofread legal articles, blog posts, website copy, and other types of legal content.
• Optimize content for search engines and follow SEO best practices.
• Ensure all content is grammatically correct, clear, concise, and follows the prescribed style guidelines.
• Work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Revise and edit content as needed to ensure it meets the client's needs and requirements.
• Create uniqeu content for clients in the same practice areas in different markets.

Requirements:

• A JD is a HUGE plus but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience writing legal content for various clients and markets.
• Knowledge of legal terminology, writing styles, and citation formats.
• Excellent research skills and ability to write on various legal topics.
• Proficiency in SEO and keyword research tools.
• Ability to follow specific writing guidelines, style guides, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free content.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work on a contract basis.
