Job description
We are looking for an experienced lawyer with at least 5 years’ relevant post qualification experience who can successfully take on multifaceted legal functions. The position works within the legal team to direct and monitor a broad array of legal matters including corporate transactions, regulation, HR, corporate governance, trading and technology documentation, and general business matters. Reporting to the Co-Chair of SIG’s European Management Committee & Dublin Head of Legal, you will be able to interact with all levels of management within and outside of SIG and must be able to exercise independent judgment and provide practical advice.
If you join us, you will be:
- Reviewing, documenting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts necessary to support SIG’s businesses, including trading, data, and technology agreement
- Documenting employment agreements and advising on employment-related issues; working closely with SIG’s HR Department and, where necessary, external counsel
- Assisting on business and regulatory projects, drafting and implementation of legal and regulatory policies and procedures
- Proactively identifying and evaluating legal risks associated with new businesses, transactions and markets
- Working with SIG’s Compliance Function to ensure our compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations
- Advising on all other legal issues relevant to the businesses operated out of the Dublin office including company law, gaming, corporate governance, corporate transactions, and data protection
- Supporting company secretarial matters; coordinating any corporate changes/filings necessary.

What we're looking for
- At least 5 years’ prior relevant corporate/commercial legal experience
- Some securities, financial services, or regulatory related legal experience desirable but not essential
- Must have strong negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and communication
- Strong academic credentials and superior writing and analytical skills
