Our Legal Department at the Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY has an opening for a Legal Imaging Specialist. Reporting to the Estates Supervisor, the Imaging Specialist will scan all documents pertaining to the Legal Department into an organized system.Responsibilities:

Our Legal Department at the Eastern Territorial Headquarters in West Nyack, NY has an opening for a Legal Imaging Specialist. Reporting to the Estates Supervisor, the Imaging Specialist will scan all documents pertaining to the Legal Department into an organized system.
- Prepare and maintain a procedural guideline for all tasks associated with this
- Maintain an imaging system in which all documents for the Legal Department are digitally
- Conduct basic quality assurance tests of scanning
- Analyze scanned data to determine accuracy and
- Index scanned images into the appropriate sub-files for ease of retrieval within the scanning
- Prepare materials to be scanned and shredded.
- Track and assist to resolve any problems when they occur in the imaging
- Repair and regenerate corrupted data
- Retrieve and produce documents requested from imaging system and
- Perform special research related to the data on
- Assist the Assistant Legal Secretary as requested to maintain the smooth flow of information both within and outside of the Legal
- Maintain procedural guidelines for tasks associated with position.
- Associate degree
- 1 - 3 years of related experience.
- Must be well organized and able to function within a team environment.
- Must understand the nature of legal matters and have prior exposure to "legalese."
- Ability to verify and validate that materials are complete and accurate.
- Exceptionally keen eye for details is required
- Scanning/imaging experience helpful
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite
