Legal Secretary
General Summary:
Reporting to the In-house Legal team of a fast paced retail / wholesale business, the role will be to assist all aspects of administration for the Legal Dept
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collecting relevant materials from multiple stakeholders and collating for in house counsel
- Managing post-in and post-out
- Managing daily record keeping and hard/soft copy filing across the department
- Ordering office supplies
- Basic legal research
- Preparing accurate reports for the team
- Build a network of relationships internally and externally
- All other duties as required including assisting in drafting letters, scanning, maintaining legal databases
Key Skills/Experience required:
- Some Legal knowledge desirable
- At least 1 year administrative experience, preferably in the legal field
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of Microsoft office (especially excel)
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills, energy and flexibility
- Persistence, common sense and a quick learner
