Lerner Solutions is seeking an experienced Level 1 Tech Service Rep who is organized and energetic, with superb interpersonal skills for our IT Managed Services firm located in Bellmore, NY. The Level 1 Tech Service Rep will perform administrative support functions and assist in purchasing and inventory. Responsibilities include:

Purchasing

Manage all procurement for the company
Manage and create partnerships with vendors that have offerings that apply to our customers
Track all purchasing and submit all expenses to the billing team
Determine best vendors for our commonly purchased items to maximize profit
Manage any RMA's that need to be returned and replaced
Manage all shipping from our HQ
Analyze the current workflow and work on making the process more efficient.
Determine which provider provides the best cost and most efficient process to pickup the items from our office
Manage shipping insurance to make sure our packages are properly insured for any scenario for a competitive price

Receiving & Inventory

Receive all incoming packages while verifying it's in proper condition
Notify the team that is expecting the item that it has been received and the location it resides
Create and manage an inventory layout that allows for an organized system that is easily trackable

Requirements:
Qualifications

High school diploma required; post-secondary education or Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 1 year of relevant work experience as an Administrative Assistant, tech service rep, preferably in a professional services environment
Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer relationship skills
Organized, detail oriented, dependable/punctual and self-motivated
Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail (computer fluency with MS Office, Google Apps, Gmail)
Ability to remain in contact with the client through the completion of the incident
Basic problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships
Willingness to develop professionally
Professional appearance and demeanor with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
Proactive self-starter with ability to manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Experience working both independently and with a team in a demanding environment
