We're looking for a skilled Addiction Counselor to play an integral role in the success of our organization. The ideal candidate for this position is compassionate and capable of building rapport with patients, and will enjoy working as part of a cohesive team to provide treatment for various addictions.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing professional, respectful and ethical individual and group counseling.
• Responsible for functioning effectively with all other members of the clinical team as well as administrative and support staff.
• Responsible to attend daily staffing.
• Responsible for professionally assessing patient needs and making appropriate referrals for dual diagnosis, mental health, physician or continuing care needs.
• Responsible for timely and accurate documentation of patient progress. This includes but is not limited to completion of bio psychosocial, treatment plan, progress notes, case presentation and discharge summary all based upon ASAM criteria. (80% PI compliance)
• Participate in educating patient and family to the disease of addiction.
• Meet weekly with case manager for continued stay review of current patient load.
• Responsible to complete annual continuing education requirements and population specific education.
• Perform lectures as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• Great Falls, MT 59401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Addiction counseling: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• LAC - License Addiction Counselor (Required)
