The Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a talented, mission driven, person-centered Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor to join our team and make a difference in the lives of others. As a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor you will provide professional independent counseling and case management for clients with co-occurring substance and mental health disorders in an inpatient treatment setting.

Job Duties Include:

• Conduct comprehensive assessment to identify substance use, behavioral and medical needs.
• Provide a client-centered treatment plan, counseling and education
• Provide case management, referrals and consultation.
• Collaborate with clients, county case managers and identified support persons on aftercare planning for continuity in addressing co-occurring disorders.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify, applicants must:

Clinical Program Therapist 1:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; AND
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Clinical Program Therapist 2:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; AND
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor; AND
• Have one (1) year of post-Bachelor's degree experience providing behavioral health services.

OR

• Have a Master Degree in psychology, social work, or related behavioral or social science program; AND
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor

Clinical Program Therapist 3:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related field; AND
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor; AND
• Have three (3) years of post-Bachelor's degree experience providing clinical services.

OR

• Have a Master Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or related behavioral or social science program; AND
• Be licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor; AND
• Have one (1) year of post-Master's degree experience providing clinical services including individual and group therapy and interventions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.94 - $42.67 per hour
