NOTE:

The Hospital will provide housing in whatever unit is available and has the right to move travelers to other housing as necessary. Each traveler will have their own bedroom and share common areas with roommates. Please note that family, friends and pets are not authorized to stay in NCH Housing unless approved prior to the assignment confirmation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MA LICSW or LCSW license required.

40 hours per week.

Typically, M-F 8-4:30 but hours may vary in the summer to cover unit needs. Shared housing provided. The Social Worker will provide medical social work services to the inpatients and outpatients of Nantucket Cottage Hospital. This includes mobile crisis assessments, bed searches, family meetings, insurance authorizations and follow up for commercially insured patients who present to the emergency room for psychiatric reasons. Social Work support is extended throughout the hospital regardless of where the patient is.

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
