Immediate opening available for Licensed Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Counselor in North Carolina.

Using evaluative techniques, and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plan in a therapeutic setting:

• Interviews client to obtain information concerning medical history or other pertinent information.
• Formulates biopsychosocial documentations.
• Observes client to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior. Selects and administers various tests, such as psychological tests, personality inventories, and intelligence quotient tests, to identify behavioral or personality traits and intelligence levels and records results.
• Reviews results of tests to evaluate client needs.
• Plans and administers therapeutic treatment, such as behavior modification and stress management therapy, using biofeedback equipment, to assist the patient in controlling disorders and other problems.
• Discusses progress toward goals with the client, such as controlling weight, stress, mental health barriers or substance abuse.
• Consults with a medical doctor or other specialists concerning treatment plan and amends plan as directed.
• Interviews client utilizing telehealth guidelines within NC Telemedicine Practice Act.
• Actives skills, including active listening, information gathering, and solution appraisal for client benefit, treatment, and progress.

Position/ Qualifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Professional Counselor/ Licensed Clinical Additional Specialist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $37.00 - $41.00 per hour
