Are you looking for a less hectic nursing job supporting one patient?V-Tech Solutions, Inc., is currently seeking certified Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for daily four-to-eight-hour split shifts (AM and PM route), providing nursing services to students on school transportation according to the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Nurses will accompany the students to and from school and help with the mobility and transfer of students
- Assist with ambulating and positioning, as needed
- Provide observation notes of the student's status and any significant changes
- Care may include the following: catheterization, g-tube feeding & care, trachea care, medication administration, asthma care, seizure monitoring and care, oxygen support
- Provide basic professional nursing care to patients and/or clients
- LPN licensed in DC, MD, or VA
- Must currently be CPR certified
- Must pass a background investigation, tuberculosis test, and 10-panel drug screen
- Must wear scrubs during all work hours
